Gensō Suikoden (幻想水滸伝), conhecido no Japão como Tenmei no Chikai (天命の誓い), é um RPG japonês desenvolvido e publicado pela Konami em 1995 para o console PlayStation. Este título marca o início de uma das séries de RPG mais queridas e aclamadas pelos fãs de jogos retrô, inspirada livremente no clássico romance chinês O Romance dos Três Reinos de Luo Guanzhong.

O jogo se passa no continente fictício de Toran, em um período de grande instabilidade política e conflito iminente. Os jogadores assumem o papel de Tir McDohl, o filho de um famoso general do Império Scarlet Moon, que se vê envolvido em uma rebelião contra a corrupção e a tirania do imperador Teo McDohl. A narrativa central gira em torno da busca pelas 108 Estrelas do Destino (Star of Destiny), artefatos poderosos e também indivíduos que podem ser recrutados para a causa rebelde.

This title marks the beginning of one of the most beloved and acclaimed RPG series by retro gaming fans, loosely inspired by the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong.

The game is set on the fictional continent of Toran, during a period of great political instability and impending conflict. Players take on the role of Tir McDohl, the son of a famous general in the Scarlet Moon Empire, who finds himself embroiled in a rebellion against the corruption and tyranny of Emperor Teo McDohl.
