Descrição em Inglês:
Rygar is a 1986 arcade platform game developed by Tecmo. The player takes on the role of the Legendary Warrior, navigating multiple levels and defeating enemies with the Diskarmor, a razor-sharp shield attached to a long chain that can be swung and launched like a yo-yo. The ultimate goal is to defeat Ligar, an evil dominator. The game is a side-scrolling action platformer where the character moves left to right, can jump, attack, and climb ropes. Notably, Rygar has no traditional health bar: death occurs upon contact with enemies, projectiles, or falling off a platform. There are five types of collectible items, including points, temporary power-ups, extra lives, time extensions, and bombs that clear the screen. Ports include NES, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Master System, and Atari Lynx. A 2002 remake for PlayStation 2, Rygar: The Legendary Adventure, was later remastered for Wii as Rygar: The Battle of Argus. The NES version is praised for blending RPG elements into platform action, an early example of Metroidvania. By 2007 the franchise had sold over 1.5 million units worldwide.
